Yesterday I was visiting the Paurakhi Basti in Thapathali Near the Bagmati bridge. Actually the area is within the slum. I met 4 kids together. Never go to the school. No food at home and nothing else there. You can see the picture and find the reality.
When I was trying to get to know about them the teacher from the school said that they do not have father and mother( 2 girls) 2 have the mother but she always engaged working somewhere. Sometimes come to home otherwise left the children at home .
There is also primary school in the slum where Beth Myriam provide the lunch everyday to the children. Even though they do not go to school they provide the food at one time.
The situation of the mainly two girls aged 5 and 3 are terrible condition . Their mother died and father left them with another women who is also widow and have no condition to support them.
